Hi!  My name is Katie Stasen and I am one of the high school Social Studies teachers at V.L.T. Academy.  This is my first year teaching and look forward to not only teaching but learning a lot as well.

I am a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Mass Communications where I worked in radio upon gradating.  I went on to graduate with a MS in Education from The University of Akron, specializing in Social Studies.  I completed my student teaching with the Department of Defense in Naples, Italy and loved experiencing the Italian culture while I was there.  Outside of teaching I love to play softball and volleyball, travel, read and cheer on my Ohio State Buckeyes.
